Our summer art program continues this Friday, Aug 6 at the Anna Jarvis House Pavilion. The program runs from 1 to 3. Pre registration is required and the cost is $5.
Participants will be making a koi fish wind sock or faux stained glass sun catcher.

Yet another First Friday event! We will have a Student Showcase table to show off the beautiful works of our pottery students on Friday, August 6th during First Friday festivities which begin at 4 pm. Students are welcome to take their works home with them Friday evening.
This First Friday is going to be a busy one for sure. After we get back from Art Camp, we will be heading direct into First Friday Kids Kraft Time.
This starts at 4PM and will run until 6PM! The kids will be making a lantern - either with a fairy them or a dragon!

OH do we have some fun activities coming up, geared for the children especially!
Art in the Park is continuing on ! We have two more fun classes on the schedule!
On Friday Aug 6, at the Anna Jarvis Home Pavillon, at Webster, from 1 to 3 PM, the volunteers from the TCAC will be teaching another fun class!! This one is geared toward children from the ages of 5 to 15. Our volunteers will be helping the children create a faux stained glass hanging and also a Koi fish wind sock. Pre-registration is required (and easy to do by calling 304 265 5500. ) $5 fee for this class, with sponsorships available.
Next on the activity list on the 6th, is our Kid's Kraft time at the Gallery. This will run from 4 to 6PM and will be held in the Gallery classroom. In this class the children will be making a lantern with a choice of either a fairy decoration in it or a dragon design. (Pictures of this following soon - check back!)
Then at 6PM, (yes on the 6th) we will be moving right along to more fun happening in our parking lot where we will be taking the activities outside. Stop by and enjoy an old time fun group of games in keeping with the children's fun theme of First Friday. We’re having the kids carnival games, which includes Sponge Toss, ring toss and “darts”( which are Velcro balls.) and face painting AND FREE prizes!!
Wow what a day this will be for art and craft loving children!
And don't forget, on Saturday Aug 7, its Art Stock and its being held in downtown Grafton this year. The fun starts at 9am and be sure to stop at the Gallery!

Oh what a wonderful evening we had yesterday at the Gallery. We had a great time honoring one of our long time volunteers and members, Carmello Tabone! It was his birthday ! Friends and family came together last evening for a fun time of celebration. Happy Birthday Carmello! You're work at the Gallery over the years is so much appreciated!
