"What were you wearing" is a moving exhibit brought to you by the PATCH Coalition of Taylor County and the Rape & Domestic Violence Information Center, in conjunction with the TCAC.
The annual Sexual Assault Awareness exhibit for the month of April. "What Were You Wearing?" is an art exhibit based on student-survivor descriptions of the clothes they were wearing during their sexual assault. These stories were collected from survivors by Jen Brockman and Dr. Mary Wyandt-Hiebert at the University of Arkansas in 2013.
These outfits have been recreated based on these survivors’ experiences. As you navigate the exhibit, you will be able to view our interpretations of the outfits as well as read history of these survivors stories. Resources for survivors and allies available are available though the RDVIC and PATCH
