West? We will be open Friday and Saturday from 11am to 1pm. We are featuring the photographic work of the Taylor County Photography Club. This show is going to be a great one - featuring the works of our members both past and present.
Its difficult to imagine that its been nearly a year since we were treated to the works of Frederick J. Ripley. His photography and presentation about railroading was one of the high lights of our fall schedule of events.
I wanted to let our train buffs know that he is exhibiting in Elkins. His absolutely stunning railroad photography will be on exhibit at the WV Railroad Museum, located at 2 Railroad Ave until the end of October. If you are in the area, stop by and take a look!
They've dusted off those lenses and have taken some amazing photos! And now its time to show them off. The Taylor County Photography Club of the TCAC will be holding a photography show starting Oct 2, 2020 and running to Nov 7.
The photography club had disbanded for a while, but are back in full force and we are excited to announce this show! It's the first show to feature the work of Taylor County Photography Club members since they have reestablished and joined us at the TCAC. We are looking forward to seeing their photographic work!
We are still working under limited hours, due to the Covid 19 pandemic. We will be open every Friday and Saturday from 11am to 1pm.
Masks (provided if you forget yours) are required during your visit to the Gallery, along with 6 ft distancing in order to protect you and our volunteers.
Past and present members are encouraged to exhibit and photos can be dropped off Thursday, October 1 from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Another great article from our friends at the Mountain Statesman.
“This is the first show to feature the work of Taylor County Photography Club members since they have reestablished and joined us at the TCAC. And we are excited to have them,” shared event organizer and TCAC member Deb White.
According to White, the show, which is slated to run from October 2 until November 7, is open to past and present photography club members.
You won't want to miss this show!
