We are receiving donations of beautiful fully decorated trees this week and will be opening our doors on Friday at 11am for our friends to browse the beauty and begin bidding in our silent auction of trees.
With that familiar nip of Old Man Winter in the air and the daylight hours getting shorter, Festival of Trees is the perfect time to warm your heart with the magic of the season. It's the most beautiful fundraiser of the year! And we would love for you to be a part of it. So let's get in the holiday spirit and come to Gallery 62 West for the Festival of Trees 2022!
The TCAC will be teaming up again this year with the Taylor County Family Resources to bring this holiday event to you. Its our 9th year of doing this fundraiser and the funds we raise from this are split between the 2 organizations. TCAC is dedicated to bringing art to Taylor County - through shows, exhibits, and classes. The TCFR is instrumental in helping families who are going through rough times and may need help obtaining basic needs such as food, cleaning items, clothing, baby items, pet supplies and more. You will be supporting the work of both organizations through your participation in this fundraiser.
Our expanded hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm. If these times don't work for you, please call 304 265 5500 and one of our volunteers will work with you to schedule a showing at a different time.
We will also be having a children's craft time on the 11th, starting at 4PM and lasting until 6pm, where the children will have the opportunity to make pine cone gnomes. At 7PM, we will be holding our cornerstone dedication ceremony to honor the memory of Mary Shuttlesworth.
We will also be posting our trees online, and taking on line bids!
Oh it is the most beautiful time of the year! We hope to see you at Gallery 62 West so we can share the magic of the season with you.
